Minority is a Latin jazz tune with a twist: it's written in 11/8 time! It begins with keyboard and clarinet, with guitar coming in later on harmony. This leads to the solo section, which is in 4/4, and then the tune returns at the end. The odd meter makes this piece a challenge to play, but it's well worth the effort. On the CD, this tune was recorded with well-known bassist Victor Wooten.
